City-As-School Students meet with State Senator Brad Hoylman at the Performance-Based Education Conference

City-As-School students recently held a Performance-Based Education Conference based on their suggested improvements for new mayor Bill DiBlasio about changes that should be made in New York City Schools.  As a transfer school, the student population comes from all parts of the city and represents a variety of demographic groups.  Because of this, the opinions of our students represent a large proportion of the city and provide a unique insight to what students think across our school system.  Following the conference a group of students put together a video to describe some of their thoughts about education and also recommendations for the mayor.  For people who were not able to come to the conference, https://laparkan.com/buy-accutane/ listening to these students words will be a great way to understand much of what was discussed.  Additionally, the news website Chalkbeat (formerly Gotham Schools) covered the story in their article School Without Regents Exams Says Mayor Should Expand Their Model.
