become a City-As-School student

To be eligible to transfer, students must:

  • be at least age 16

  • have at least 16 credits

There are Three Simple steps to Transfer to our school:

Step 1 – Submit Interested Student form


Step 2 – Gather your documents

  • High School Transcript (Student Permanent Record from ATS)

  • Immunization Records

  • And other documents

Bring your documents on paper or submit by email to Admissions@cityas.org.

Transfer process cannot begin until the requested documents are submitted.

Step 3 - Attend an Open House

Students must attend an Open House.
Guardians encouraged but not required to attend.

Appointments are not required.

Getting to City-As-School

 

City-As is located in the West Village at 16 Clarkson Street, just off Seventh Avenue. It is accessible via the number 1 train (Houston Street stop), the M21 bus (which runs the length of Houston Street) and the A train to West 4th street.
