Hundreds of businesses throughout New York City’s five boroughs hosts City-As School internships including museums, law firms, arts agencies, law firms, retail stores, government agencies and more.
We will support you
You will be assigned a City-As-School Internship Coordinator who will match you to a student, visit your internship site and ensure things run smoothly.
We ask you to commit to nine weeks at a time for 12-24 hours per week (on a Mon/Wed or Tues/Thurs schedule)
You’ll discuss mutual expectations with your student and sign a letter of understanding to encourage on-site learning.
You’ll provide students with guidance by directly supervising them on site throughout their internship.
You’ll review student work which will be presented to their internship coordinator for academic assessment.
