Art Fair

On May 11 and 12, City-As-School hosted its first Art Fair.  Students chose between many different workshops such as button making, collage, and photographic light painting.  The highlight of the fair was a visit by alumni artist Franck De Las Mercedes, who introduced our school community to the Priority Boxes Project, a thought provoking public work that is being circulated throughout the world.  He was also kind enough to donate one of his paintings, which now hangs on our third floor.

To learn about how you can become involved in Franck’s priority box project, visit his website and kickstarter page.
